The role of the University of Pittsburgh Pre-clinical Vector Core Facility is to provide existing Stock Reagents or Custom Reagents expressing the appropriate genes for registered researchers within the University of Pittsburgh.

The University of Pittsburgh Vector Core Facility has relocated to the new Rangos Research Building at Children’s Hospital in Lawrenceville. For complete information, please see this announcement.

Researchers must register with the University of Pittsburgh Vector Core, and agree to the stated terms and conditions, in order to receive viral vectors. No materials will be released to a researcher until the registration has been approved. Registration may be done by clicking the Registration button in the menu bar now, or at the time of ordering stock vectors.

Adenovirus
Preparations

The Vector Core carries a variety of stock adenoviruses for distribution to registered researchers. We also produce custom and large scale preparations of adenoviruses.

Retrovirus
Preparations

The Vector Core carries a variety of stock retroviruses for distribution to registered researchers. We also produce custom preparations of retroviruses.

	The Vector Core carries a variety of Stock Reagents in the adenovirus and retrovirus categories. These vectors are available only to registered researchers.
	The Vector Core will also produce novel vectors for adenoviruses and retroviruses for registered researchers.
